Dr. Christopher Jons was born in Laramie, Wyoming. He went to high school at Lyman High School, and attended the University of Wyoming for his undergraduate education. At UW, Chris ran for the University of Wyoming Cross Country and Track teams, serving as a captain during his senior season.

It was at Pacific University where Dr. Jons met his wife, Tracy, who is currently a Physician Assistant for Sheridan Memorial Hospital Women's Clinic. Together they are raising their children with the Big Horn Mountains as their backdrop.
In Buffalo, Chris is currently active with their church, Rotary, YMCA, and anything anti drinking and driving, along with supporting many other local activities. He has also been heavily active with the Wyoming Optometric Association serving as President during 2020.
"Chris is grateful to the Buffalo community for how well they have embraced and supported The Vision Center of Johnson County from the past, present, and into the future, no matter the bumps along the road from fire to COVID."
